Filosofo di formazione, saggista e culture innovation advisor, fellow al MIT di Boston, Cosimo Accoto ha maturato il suo percorso professionale nella consulenza strategica di management e nell’industria dei dati e delle piattaforme analitiche. MIT Connection Science Fellow, focalizza la sua attuale ricerca e consulenza tecno-culturale su: filosofia del software, scienza dei dati, intelligenza artificiale, logica delle piattaforme, tecnologia della blockchain. Già research affiliate al MIT , è autore di diversi saggi tra cui: Mani, menti, mercati. Automazione e ominazione tra machine experience e machine economy (in Il primato delle tecnologie, a cura di Carlo Bordoni, Mimesis 2020), Il mondo ex machina. Cinque brevi lezioni di filosofia dellautomazione (Egea 2019, con un contributo di Alex ‘Sandy’ Pentland); Il mondo dato. People, Culture & Business Innovation Advisor,  Fellow at MIT, Books Author e Keynote Speaker. My senior consultancy projects: data intelligence, digital transformation, platform design, open innovation, change management, corporate e-learning, organizational network analysis. My research topics/books: culture change, data strategy, platform thinking, artificial intelligence, blockchain business, code economy. Forge is my current side project: a culture change lab for companies and businesses to explore and experiment with new thinking paradigms at the crossroads of philosophy, technology, economy.

Prior to my current fellowship and previous affiliation at MIT, I served as Partner & VP Innovation at OpenKnowledge where I helped organizations to design and deploy their digital business transformation (Philips, Luxottica, Eni, A2A, Vodafone, Autogrill, Zegna, Legrand BTicino, Miroglio, Sanofi, Saras, Unipol, Edison). Having formerly worked at international research, data & software firms for more than 15 years, I’ve acquired a solid experience in using digital analytics & big data for business intelligence & development serving as Commercial Director at Memis (Confirmit/Kantar networks), Head of Business Development at Jupiter Media Metrix (Comscore), Sales & Service Account at Agb Italy (Nielsen Audience Measurement). Previously Lecturer in Digital Analytics & Big Data at IE University (Madrid), I also collaborated to “Digital Markets” project, IMCA – USI University (Lugano) and BIT project (UCLA Anderson School of Management).
